It’s all down to this one … the final game away at relegated Wycombe, needing a point to ensure League One football next season. The simple facts are a win or a draw should keep us up … if we lose and Tranmere and Exeter win, we go down!

Skipper Barry Fuller (broken nose) misses the rest of the season after surgery. Fellow centre backs Garry Richards and Simon King (both ankle ligaments) are unavailable. On loan striker Rene Howe plays his last game, while fellow striker Chris Dickson has returned to Charlton after his loan spell expired.

Our final home game of the season sees us take on Southampton, who would no doubt have been in the play-offs at least, but for their 10-point deduction. While the Saints have nothing to really play for, we desperately need three points to edge us towards safety

Skipper Barry Fuller (broken nose) will now miss the rest of the season after surgery. Josh Gowling is available after a two-match ban, but centre back Darren Dennehy has returned to parent club Cardiff City after his loan spell expired. Fellow centre backs Garry Richards and Simon King (both ankle ligaments) are unavailable. Second year apprentice Connor Essam could feature on the bench.

We take on promoted Norwich City at Carrow Road this Saturday with confidence boosted by last weekend’s fine 3-2 win over high flying Leeds United that helped edge us towards safety.

Skipper Barry Fuller (broken nose) misses the game and might need surgery. Josh Gowling serves the second game of a two-match ban. Second year apprentice Connor Essam could feature on the bench.

We face promotion chasers Leeds United at Priestfield this Saturday and once again only a win will push us towards safety and stop us dropping into the drop zone.

Mark Stimson has a defensive crisis with potentially four centre backs unavailable through injoru or suspension. Josh Gowling starts a two-match ban after Tuesday night’s red card. Fellow centre back Darren Dennehy (back) is rated doubtful after playing the first half, but was subbed at half time, against Brighton, with youngster Tom Wynter replacing him. Garry Richards (broken toe/ankle ligaments) will miss the rest of the season, while Simon King (ankle ligaments) has been missing since July last year.

Top scorer Simeon Jackson (dead leg) played thirty minutes against Brighton on Tuesday, so will hopefully be fit to start this one.

With no sign of a cure to their season long travel sickness, Gills will be looking to accumulate as many points as possible from their three remaining home games in an effort to ensure League One survival

Meanwhile manager Mark Stimson has major concerns over his central defensive partnership of Darren Dennehy and Garry Richards who both suffered knocks at Millwall along with leading scorer Simeon Jackson.

It’s a short trip up the A2 this weekend to take our high flying ‘neighbours’ Millwall at The New Den. Our away form would suggest we’ll get nothing from this one, but stranger things have happened? Expectations are for a big crowd at The New Den with over 11,000 tickets sold as of Thursday evening.

Top scorer Simeon Jackson (hamstring) played twenty minutes against Southend last Monday so should be fit to start this one. Skipper Barry Fuller (broken arm) played the full ninety minutes on Monday wearing a light cast with no ill effects, so expect him to start again. Josh Gowling (hamstring) will have to once again settle for a place on the bench, as will on loan striker Chris Dickson whose desire has been criticised by manager Mark Stimson.

It’s up to the north west for the second time in three weeks … this time to visit Boundary Park to face one of our fellow strugglers, Oldham Athletic. If there’s any game we need to register our first away win of the season, this is it!

Top scorer Simeon Jackson (hamstring) has been eased back this week and slowly stepped up his training with a view to playing some part hopefully at Oldham. Centre back Josh Gowling (hamstring) will miss the game and full back Barry Fuller (broken arm) could make an appearance over the Easter period. It was also announced this week that centre back Simon King (ankle ligaments) will not return to action this season.
Paul Ince’s MK Dons (though some still refer to them as ‘Franchise United’) come to Priestfield this Saturday and a quick glance at the table will say … we must win!

Top scorer Simeon Jackson (hamstring) is rated 50/50, defender Josh Gowling (hamstring) will probably miss the game, while full back and skipper Barry Fuller (broken arm) is nearing a return at Easter. Centre back Simon King (ankle ligaments) continues to recover, but is still someway off a return.

Who would have thought five years ago that we would be playing Charlton Athletic in a League One clash at The Valley? Then the Addicks were in the Premiership destined for a mid-table finish, while we were on our way down from the Championship to League One, courtesy of Forest’s German sub, Eugene Bopp (where is he now?).

It is billed as the Kent derby, despite the Addicks residing in SE7 … clearly a London postcode. Nevertheless a big crowd is expected in what is only our third competitive visit to The Valley since the Second World War, but is it a big ask for us to claim our first away win of the season?

Gills travel to the north-west this Saturday to take on bottom side Stockport County and after recent results (Carlisle away aside), should we be thinking this is our best chance to register our first away win?

Mark Stimson can name an unchanged side following last weekend’s fine 2-0 win over play-off hopefuls Huddersfield.
