The GillsConnect member predictions have proved, if anyone doubted, that football is all about opinions as they had ranged from a top six finish by GOLDIE1966 down to a lowly 21st finish in the bottom four and certain relegation by member WHATSTEVETHEBUTLERSAW.

The full list of entries are shown below:

As pictured above top right, the prize for JAMES3RD will be two signed copies of recently published books by the former Gills favourites Micky Adams and Adebayo Akinfenwa.

Superb defender Micky Adams played for Gills between 1979>83 under Keith Peacock and went on to become a star player for Southampton plus then moving into a successful managerial career at a host of Clubs including Fulham, Swansea, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United and Port Vale.

Popular striker Big Adebayo Akinfenwa will need no introduction as his two spells at Gills, and nearly 100 appearances, were littered with goals and marvellous displays by the Big Man. Adebayo’s partnership with Cody McDonald in scoring a combined 27 goals during the 2013/14 season still lingers in the memory. 'The Beast', looks back at Bayo’s career, who despite spending much of his time playing in the lower leagues, he has become something of a cult hero among football fans.
